Your child

The mist rises from the lake's surface in the crisp early morning air as the camp slowly awakes to begin the day's paddle, coffee percolating on the camp stove, yesterday's whitewater run still felt in each flex of a muscle. The coffee mug warms your hands as the sun begins to climb and the mist begins to fade.
